This week there's a huge meeting in Las Cruces, New Mexico: the International Symposium for Personal and Commercial Spaceflight. Just about everyone who's anyone in aerospace is there and some interesting quotes are already emerging;

Other NASA presenters constantly referred to the air-mail model for promoting private space companies, recalling how the government encouraged commercial aviation in the 1920's by granting air-mail delivery contracts to private carriers.
