A German project.

And part of the development plan is to make one that can land without a parachute - the jumper would do a flair just before coming to rest on the ground.

but not entirely new: the Kinetic Aerospace Phasst is similar and made its first flights in 2001. It was even used for a James Bond movie in 2002...

they put Vstall at 150 km/h, so they still have some work to do for a chute-less landing. or am I missreading that?
