That tighted up the results pretty well; No FCC ID to be seen, so unless the sticker is missing it's clearly not for US consumption. It's gotta be that wierd NEC OEM card that came with an old NEC PC as mentioned above.

That column doesn't mean "Supports win98", that means "supports 98Dos Display Routine".Well According to that link Taz posted,
it has a 175Mhz DAC, 2mb of vram, supports win98 and has rgb in/out.

hmm at one stage it had xserver support for debian and free bsd...and linux?

It was manufactured by nec, and used in their own line of PC's
maybe a PEGC-480 card?
(the d95177gn is a NEC graphic chip)
Looks to me it uses a NEC chip (possible Power vr or a predecessor), to do the 3d which is displayed using the mystiques overlay....also the rgb in probably allows the card to be used as an alternative 3d accelerator for an external card.....
unless its some kind of genlocking kind of device, so you can overlay and graphics on a raw video ?

Its a very old PCI card prbably pci 1.x something your board proably up to pci 2.2

yeah you are right if it is pci 1.x it should "probably work" , but I think WyWyWyWy might be right.
PC98 seem to indicate a standard for making PC's that is not PCI...
but I don't think the NEC chip is a PCI bridge...from ewhat I have turned up it seems to be graphic chip in its ownright...and xfree server written for it (3.3.3)
