That tighted up the results pretty well; No FCC ID to be seen, so unless the sticker is missing it's clearly not for US consumption. It's gotta be that wierd NEC OEM card that came with an old NEC PC as mentioned above.
what is this card?

That column doesn't mean "Supports win98", that means "supports 98Dos Display Routine".Well According to that link Taz posted,
it has a 175Mhz DAC, 2mb of vram, supports win98 and has rgb in/out.
Hope that helps
98-Dos is an Dos-like, Japanese operating system for NEC PC9801 series computers.
You can't... it is for some specific NEC machines only... (not PCI I think)It would be interesting to just plug it in and let windows see what kind of card it is.
Note 1: No 1-10 might be exchangeable. They use C-BUS which is like PCI with pins shifted. (not sure if my translation is correct)’‚PF‡‚1`10‚Í‘ŠŒÝ‚ÉŽd—l‚ªˆÙ‚È‚èAŒ´‘¥‚Æ‚µ‚Ä–{—ˆ‚ Ì–{‘Ì‚ÌPCI‚ÉŽ—‚½C-BUSŠñ‚èê—pƒ\ƒPƒbƒg‚Å‚µ‚©“®ì‚µ‚È‚¢B

Note 2: No 2 and No 3 are exchangeable, they are of the same level.
Note 3: No 2, 3 and 4 are exchangeable, although the number of colours is not necessarily the same.
Note 4: No 4 and No6 could be exchangeable, not confirmed.
Note 5: No 5 has a 4mb version (the author thinks).
Note 6: No 7, 8 and 9 should be of the same level, not confirmed.Last edited by WyWyWyWy; 4 May 2003, 23:30.P4 Northwood 1.8GHz@2.7GHz 1.65V Albatron PX845PEV Pro

hmm at one stage it had xserver support for debian and free bsd...and linux?
640x400 and 640x480 at 8 bpp
It was manufactured by nec, and used in their own line of PC's
maybe a PEGC-480 card?
(the d95177gn is a NEC graphic chip)
Looks to me it uses a NEC chip (possible Power vr or a predecessor), to do the 3d which is displayed using the mystiques overlay....also the rgb in probably allows the card to be used as an alternative 3d accelerator for an external card.....
unless its some kind of genlocking kind of device, so you can overlay and graphics on a raw video ?
Seem only to be ever used/made in japan

Its a very old PCI card prbably pci 1.x something your board proably up to pci 2.2
I think its not worth trying to get it to work in a new system, try somehting older..Last edited by Marshmallowman; 4 May 2003, 23:56.

yeah you are right if it is pci 1.x it should "probably work" , but I think WyWyWyWy might be right.
PC98 seem to indicate a standard for making PC's that is not PCI...
but I don't think the NEC chip is a PCI bridge...from ewhat I have turned up it seems to be graphic chip in its ownright...and xfree server written for it (3.3.3)
edit to add:
put
into http://world.altavista.com/
This chip is used on a trident video card as well, but is also used on a mg1 1064 card as well, see the middle of the text.
It says that the card(in th link) is pci compliant?.
following the babelised links seems to suggest its a 3d accelerator, based on the Power series pre (power VR).
or more likely
a video accelrator ala mpeg 1
