I was just mildly ticked when they came out with the complete Monty Python series on dvd. I had been buying them as they came out, and I could have saved some $ if I had known that they were going to release the total package at a lower cost. Oh, well.

Let's see. 30 minutes per episode * (13 season 1 episodes + 13 season 2 episodes + 13 season 3 episodes + 6 season 4 episodes) = 22.5 hours. Theoretically, you could just squeeze it into 1 day, but you would never be the same.

In reality, the Life of Brian is extremely boring

What? Don't start telling us you're not the messiah, since we won't believe such nonsense!

One thing I've learned over the years is what's funny is relevant upon age, education and experiences sometimes. There is no clear favorite but I can choose different movies from different times to reflect changes in myself.

But all I have to think about is "I'm a lumberjack..." and to hell with sophisticated humor, it's still funny. Or the guy in the resturant blowing chunks...or the piano player in his birthday suit, the knight gushing blood as his limbs are whacked off.

My wife thought it was all disgusting, but I still liked it.

Even a Messiah's life can be boring at times

Actually, I'm Elvis and I just turned 66 yesterday
