Hockey has always had a place in this forum dating back to the Rainbow Runner days, perhaps because Matrox was/is a Canadian company. Even Chris (This Idiot) from the UK used to chime in on occasion about hockey. Have a look at This thread from the archives. Interestingly enough, there was some guy named “Brian” commenting on hockey in that thread as well.

Good to see you around Haig...or was your visit due for a little bragging rights on a great Montreal win last night.

I was in Montreal all weekend ( drove by the Matrox buildings off of highway 40).
We took the kids for the first time to see the Biodome, Insectarium/gardens and Olympic park. We got lost somewhere off of Sherbrooke street and landed in front of this greek resturant, so we ate there while watching the game on a big TV. The restaurant owner brought in the TV so he wouldn't miss the game. After the second Montreal goal he poured a glass of wine (free) to any Montreal fan. ( Hey I was Hab fan, before the Sens came aboard ) I had to say no more after the forth goal. The place was wild as everyone was having a super time. Even the kids had a great time at the resturant with the server staff.

Here's an interesting thing to note - the only starting goalie with a Cup (unless Hasek comes back) is Brodeur with NJ. He has 3.
