    It went all over the place. Hmmmm 25 * 354,851 = 8,871,275

Got to get better than that though. The highest score is over 2 billion (2,147,483,647)

    That number / (sum of 1 thru 25) 325 = 6,607,641.991
First, deduct the billion bonus points he gets for getting all the bonuses.. you get an average of 3,530,718.91.

Now what we need to do is find the ones that have a definite solution and deduct their number and perfect score from the total so we can find out what we need to average on those endless-orbit ones.

That sounds like an excellent plan.

It might go all day, but will it ever finish? Doesn't look like it will, but I'll let it run for a while...

It needs more angle.. the orbit is too stable. Try 72, 9 or -9 .. I ran 72, 9 for about 2 hrs and got up to 5 million plus distance but I couldn't tell if it was getting any closer to the hole after awhile.

actually mine had a much broader deviation at the ends.
                  timing is also important

When do you release the ball? I shoot it as the planets approach max distance apart.

Lvl 3: -36,-52, -39,-55 been running for several minutes now.

Edit: Still have to confirm this. Nope, it's an infitie orbite.

about that time, but if they are a lttle closer it will tend to draw the ball out more.

regardless, doesn't look like it will ever get close enough - I gave up at about 9,000,000

edit: this was response to response to Kvh. Zokes is just too darn fast.

Mine set's off into an infinite computational orbite around a gathering of yellowish orangy mass of pixels until windows crashes, or IE quits outwhich ever comes first.

There must be a definitive high score.. The maximum possible points if you do everything just right.. I still haven't gotten level 9 to work.. the ball sticks to a planet before reaching the hole unless you toss it directly in. Level 15 is very similar, but I got that one to work.. once.

I did get level 15 to go to about 200,000, but stupid me didn't write down the coordinates

Have you found a better set of coordinates than -50, 3 for level 7 yet, SF? I was thinking that there might be one starting on the other side of the planet that would go farther, but haven't found it yet.. mallowman's -18,50 seems the best so far on that side..
