I've also had my share of cats as pets over the years.

Well, the thing that makes it kinda unfunny in my opinion is that I have known grown men who thought it was cool to kill cats.. and they expected everyone else to agree and revel with them in their hatred of felines. This sort of thing just propagates and validates that attitude. I've known lots of cats, and almost all of them were sweet, inoffensive creatures. There are far more people who deserve to have their heads chopped off than cats, in my opinion. Lucky all around that my cats have been indoor cats only. If one were killed and I found out who did it, I would probably rip their guts open and leave them to a much deserved slow and painful death.
