I had the same problem when trying to start a new thread with an uploaded image a few days ago.

Me, too, for a week or two! Workaround: upload the image to http://www.freeimagehosting.net or similar. They then give you a URL script that you can copy/paste directly in the forum, such as the Seychelles image that I last posted was (leading/trailing [] replaced by {}, to prevent the image coming up)

PS, I try to resize the image to 640 px wide if it is bigger.
