Yes, indeed. The old Arctic station.

It was founded in 1906 and have been in use ever since.

Its the most prolific arctic research stations in the world, although comparatively unknown.

Im going there this september.

Not in the Nordic countries. Yes there are hills visible from here, but snow is not noted in the region although it may fall from time to time in the winter.
