Actually, SF, your photo was taken in Istanbul, but the town you see is Uskudar (I think). Istanbul is entirely in Europe: Uskudar is in Asia, although it's only ten minutes away if you take a taxi from the Old City, 30 minutes if you drive yourself! (Istanbul is well up in my top ten cities not to drive in! )
