There are actually two new buildings in the shot. There are lots of other new ones in the vicinity.

Guess it may be a mall but could not find anything resembling it. There was something, I think in Kent, starting with "Blue...", but couldn't find a photo. Was it that?

There's a new mall right behind these two buildings. Further north than Kent.

Leicester. The building with the steel shingles is a cinema.

Correct. The flowery facade is on a new John Lewis, and the other is a Cinema De Lux. Both have been completed in the last few weeks, along with the HighCross shopping centre and the new theatre called 'The Curve'.

Actually, HRH The Queen is opening them all today, along with our new library on our main campus. Security, parking etc is a nightmare!
