24 is nuts. Still waiting for a season to top the first one. This one is pretty good so far.

I think the safe rooms were situation (where most everyone was), holding and medical.

they showed the guy who developed the gas being wheeled into the same room as Tony. it was a safe room.... i dont think the guy will be alive much longer though.

Is it me or is 24 on the verge of jumping the shark? I mean, there hasn't been a national security crisis for several hours now, it's just been a cat and mouse game between Jack and the President. Make some copies of the recordnig already! Leak it to the press!

Been trying to avoid reading too many of posts in here because the wife and I just started watching the first season on DVD. We're up to disc 5 now (getting them via Netflix). If you have the time to watch it, it's almost as addictive (if maybe more so) than Lost.

Funny you should mention Lost. I didn't get a chance to watch it first time around so recently bought the first series off of ebay (ahem, apparently). I'm about 1/2 way through, and guess I'll have to do the same for series 2.

24 is one of the last great dramas on TV.

I hate when good dramas run out of steam and jump the shark by resorting to soap opera story lines. There was once a great show on TV about 10 years ago called Traders that turned into a soap opera around the end of the 2nd or 3rd season and I had to stop watching it. It went on for one or two more seasons but it was crap and I couldn't watch it. I still miss that show. :sigh:

About 24, I can't believe how bad the tech is. It's truly terrible! I've likened it to verbal diarrhea. You'd think that they could hire some competent tech consultants.
