    Sleep

How much do you people get a night? Running on 4 hours today it is not pleasant.

Am in bed for ~6½-7 h, but it takes me a little time to actually drop off. I wake up usually about 2½ h before I get up and do some fitful short naps, perhaps 5 to 8 thereafter, with a guestimated average 10 minutes wakefulness between them, so I plonked for 5-6 h of actual sleep. Used to sleep like a log for 6-7 h when younger.

when i'm doing overnight shifts i tend to average around 4 hours per day and work out the rest during the weekend. 6 hours for a regular shifts...

next two weeks will be rough as i'm doing over nights plus on-call during the next two weekends. = 4hours sleep/day for next 12 days ( minus last two days)

Hmm...haven't slept for two nights, only with some 2 to 3 h (totall) nap this morning.
And I think I'm behaving almost normal...

I used to work on about 5 hours a night on a routine basis... until I f***ed my metabolism. Now I really need 8 hours. However, after over a year of routine sleep deprivation (courtesy of Jacob) I'm nearly narcoleptic.

currently in the 5~6 range, but more on the 5 side.
              which sadly is an improvement.

I get 5-6 but that's because I don't go to bed when I should, otherwise it would be 7-8 hours.

All depends on the kiddies, but they are getting older and not waking up at 5:00 in the morning

7-8 hrs on melatonin, 3-4 hrs off.

Needless to say I'm on more than off.

Asleep at 9:45, up at 4:45 pretty much like clockwork for years.
                              No alarm clock nessesary.
