OK, i got the 9500pro chip to 400MHz, stable.
I can't even begin to say how good the Arctic Cooling VGA Silencers are...i mean come on, a 125MHz core overclock? 275 to 400? Thats very good in anyones book. i have a very cool system also, very noisy, and on a 10m leash, behind a door.
      O/C load temps on a 2500+ cpu @ 2175 odd, at 32C.
Aero 7+ cooler, at near max, just under the whine....
a LOT of airflow thru the case.
9800pro is gonna be sweet in there...(counting the hours)
here is 9500pro at 400/315 my absolute max (problems at 420mhz..)

What voltage do you use for the cpu? I have to pump it up to 1.85v to get it stable.

hard flashed. W1zzard one i think. it works fine. now the standard clocks are uh, i forget. haven't ever really used them
                  275/270 for a 9500pro
i think it was higher than that for a 9700 but i think it just had the full 256bit memory bus, and that was the only big difference between the 9500pro 128bit and the 9700 256bit. the 9700pro was at 325 310 i think.

I am still using a 128bit memory bus, nothing i can do about that tho...and the flashing didn't seem to affect the 128bit interface. i thought it might, since it may be trying to work on a 256bit interface.

Had less luck with the 9800se tho. no 8 pipes for me.
should clock pretty high tho. gets to 420 with the 'chipset' cooler they shipped it with...a no-name card....yeah, who would want to put their name on such a small cooler.

edit: memory is 2.8ns Samsung chips, rated for 357MHz(~700 DDR).
have tested them at 350, and had no problems whatsoever.
so best (until better cooling arrives) 420/680
                  stock speeds: 380/680.

hoping to get 450 or 470 with proper cooling.
also with the 9800pro which is taking its time in arriving... ...

you are right, my results are kind of odd. I re-ran them to verify that they were accurate, and they are (supposedly).

the card is running stock speeds and settings.
