Alright, Iv been trying to look for answers but I guess I just have to break down and start a new thread.
When capturing with my g450etv, I get crazy crackles. Yes, I'v read the forums, and everyone and their friends believes the Sblive is a piece of shit. Well, thats fine but Im not really going to try to sell it and buy a new sound card, I want to get it to stop crackling. Thats not so much to ask right?
Yeah, Im running it on a Via686a Southbridge chipset, with a 1Ghz T-bird, and an Sblive, Iv played with the volume settings blah blah blah, and I have some really old version of the 4n1 on there too.
I have a second machine, If I put my sblive and other components on this machine will I still get the same crackling noises? I know its a bus-hog and all, but lets face it, Via doesn't do it right. The other motherboard and cpu im talking about is a nice little, p3-700Mhz with and i815 board, runs like a champ and never crashes.
Do you guys think this will make the crackling go away when ripping?
