Hi folks,
sorry to ask again. I stll do not realy understand.
I plan to produce a SVCD from some MARVEL G400 TV captured source. So the source is (I assume) field based, B, odd, or whatever first.
SVCD spec says, it is interlaced, too. So I assume that I do not have to de-interlace. In fact, I shouldn't de-interlace. It would make the job worse.
I tried out, but it did not look good. Then I said to myself: couldn't it be that the DVD player I use is used to field-order A, even, or whatever it is called? So I swapped fields with VirtualDub.
Now it looks better, though I'm still unsure.
Can anybody tell me about his successfull settings in either Tsunami or CCE?
