i just talked to terratec, there is no USA version of the card.

I gotta look into getting something else.

Can anyone advise me on a good tv card that will capture yuv2 and other formats?

      Thanks

        Thats bad.

Think you will have to buy a Hauppauge wintv, there is no reason
        to select an expensive one.

Make sure its with s-vhs input and stero

You will probably need this link

well i just bought that AVer studio tv card, it looks pretty good and was rated pretty high, i'll let you guys know how things go when i get it if you are interested.

Thanks for all your help, now i just have to decide how much money i can spend, either get the 128mb parhelia, or the 256, i would get the 128, but i heard the 256 is gonna have a higher clock and perform better.

Interesting, very interesting. And all that for 69,95 Euro?

I quote/translate a few features from the German site:

              - Automatic channel seeking and naming
              - Multi-channel preview
              - Saves snapshots, videoclips, or whole-evening programs onto hard disk
              - Supports just about every codec e.g. DivX-;
              - Timer-controlled recording in VCD/DVD quality
              - Includes full version of Intervideo WinDVR with recording possibility in VCD, SVCD and DVD Mpeg-1 and -2 profiles. Supports time-shifting.
              - Integrated high-speed videotext
              - Includes a REMOTE CONTROL that is fully programmable AND can remotely control most Windows applications

Enough to make MY mouth water... Combine this with a good graphics card with a decent video-out and you could have a winner!
Resistance is futile - Microborg will assimilate you.
