Just thought I'd share something that worked out. Sucessfully upgraded my system to a 1 gig T-bird on an ASUS A7V133a board with 128 ram. Had to find out if all hardware was working quickly, so I first installed on existing harddrive. All worked fine, except for same problems I'd been having on old system.
After clean install, all is well. No problems with VIA drivers. Can capture full screen Huffy without drops, and MPEG conversion goes much faster. So far, I would recommend both T-bird chip and Asus A7V133a. I'm even using the onboard sound! (We'll see how that goes.)
Still have question about Huffy and output, but that's got to be software and I'll go into that elsewhere.
