I have a lot of homevideos of concerts recorded in EP and have kind of poor image quality, and the Matrox G400-TV card sees this as MacroVision and stops capturing. This would be great! I am on Windows 2000 with the newest Video Tools... will your patch work with my OS?

I think the patch should work since Video Tools 2.0 is what Win2K users have had to use for the past year, but in BETA stages... now that the final release is out and this patch is for it, it should work in Windows 2000, right? Where could one get this patch from the site? Or would one of you gentlemen be kind enough to send it to me via email? tibro@home.com is my email address. Thanks guys.

Where does Ant post files to? Does he do it right here at MURC? Or is there another site? I can't seem to find it... but he may not have uploaded it to the site sa of yet.

Are you running the English version of the Video Tools? Only thing I can think of, haven't actually tried it out myself yet.

I tried your patch and it was successful in Win2k, but it won't work in Win9x. Will you have a future release for Win9x? I'll have to see if I can find a video tape which has macrovision and try it out.

What? what final release. its still beta, where is the final release. I havent seen an update for the g400-tv win2k drivers for over a year. I figure that matrox has just given up on win2k support. the just create just enough support for it so that they can market it as working with win2k. They prob are working on the g450tv now. I would be surprised if they have the w2k drivers finished by the time whistler comes out
