As much as my heart goes for the new Dell, my brain says to go with the BenQ.
I may not get the best picture, but I could connect my new PC thru DVI, my old PC thru 15 pin and ......... HDMI cable so I can plug in my new camcorder and see it in full glory of 1080 as well. All at the same time too.
Acer 20" is sharp, but a little too small for Video editting...
The Westinghouse looks promising but at 26" we're talking more $$.
Between this monitor price difference and the purchase of the Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU from Micro Center for $199 instead on waiting for the new Penryn Q9450(building a new PC right now too), I'm half way to purchase a new lens for my DSLR camera.

New lens for the dSLR, new 24" monitor, Q6600,... your shopping list looks exactly like mine! Looks like a lot of us around here are cut from the same mold.
I just received a SB12 SVS subwoofer yesterday. One of the most exciting toys I've bought in a long time. Loving it.
