About KyroII being CPU dependent, I would say that´s not dependant, that´s *scalable*. It´s no more dependent that a no T&L card (when T&L is used, like 3dm2k, 3dm2001, VulpineGlmark and errr... not much more ). I think it´s nice to know that when those tb 1400 drop in price they´ll be a nice upgrade for my tb 900@1000 and Kyro will scale acordingly. You can´t say that about a MX, you´ll get mostly the same scores at 1024x768x32 because it´s already fill rate limited at that res.
About AGP texturing, here´s the deal: KyroII 64 Mb cards don´t do AGP texturing because the maximum adressable memory amount is 64 Mb. Low? Maybe, but I don´t think that limit will be reached within the card´s lifespan. With DXT1 TC it´ll store around 300 Mb of them... and let´s face it, you don´t want your card doing AGP texturing, it´s painfull slow. Kyro 32 mb boards will do AGP texturing, though (they´ll adress 32 Mb more of system memory)
