    1) Bad memory (most likely cause, about 20% of crucial/micron crap is bad)
Solution - use memtest 86, replace memory if errors found
MemTest86 is the original self booting memory testing software for x86 and ARM computers. Supporting both BIOS and UEFI, with options to boot from USB.

    2) Via chipset (second likely cause)
    Solution - replace the motherboard

    3) Overheating AMD CPU (third likely cause)
Solution - either get a normal cpu or get a 90000 rpm fan
    1. The memory has been tested already....it tests out fine

    2. Well this might be a problem, but for now I'm stuck with it...I'm temped to go SIS for my next motherboard, but only ECS makes SIS boards now and the newer board doesnt have an on board LAN on it like the older one does...the SIS 735 (I think thats what is) is pretty nice and for the price cant be beat! My GF has one with a G400 and it runs great..with Win98

    3) I really doubt that this is the problem..I have a Swifttech MC 462 heatsink, which can double for a boat anchor if need and it has a Noisy Delta fan on it.

Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?
