I just have my Asus USB2 controller, my AIW8500DV, my Intel PRO/100+ NIC and my adaptec 2100S.
The live is on the sideline for the moment.
Fingers crossed! The Welsh support two teams when it comes to rugby. Wales of course, and anyone else playing England

OK It is three hours later.
I am back from lunch and I notice that SETI is still running two instances on seperate processors.
I fired up a coulpe of internet explorer windows and they gave me a fatal error with a couple of dlls, as above.
Now it is still working, as i am posting this.
The Live! is not in the computer, and I am using the Catalyst 2.5 drivers. The system was solid until i put the second CPU in.
I'll leave it on a tad longer and see what happens. The Welsh support two teams when it comes to rugby. Wales of course, and anyone else playing England

As soon as i hit submit on the above post, I got another fatal error followed by a popup from 'Dr Watson Postmortem Dubugger' and then finally a BSOD.
WTF is this???
I am confused. The computer works fine if i dont touch it.
I had two instances of SETI which were processing work units normally. KaZaA K++ was connected as usuall and Outlook was getting my mail in the background.
It only crashed when i opend up an IE window and tried to navigate.

I know. But does it?
For example, the Live! works fine with one CPU. If i use the latest creative drivers, i get no problems.
As soon as I insert a second CPU, the Live! falls apart. That is not the CPU's fault. It's the badly written drivers that wont work in SMP.
I am trying to establish if it is the CPU. I know it looks likely, but I want to be thorough and rule out all other possibilities. The Welsh support two teams when it comes to rugby. Wales of course, and anyone else playing England
