I know XP supports Intel's hyper threading and supposedly 2K does not, but can it work anyway?

So on a dual CPU win2k server it shows 4 CPUs, but what does it really do with the 'CPUs'

HT is not really two CPUs, and it can act slower than a pure UP if not handled correctly.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
