@Admiral: What version of sisoft do you use (the scores are completely different sometimes, just realised that I don't have the actual version yet).
But, isn't it a little bit unfair to compare a new system like yours with a old fsb 100QDR p4 and pc800? A competition between a i850e (533 fsb) with pc1066 and a p4 (same clock, same fsb) at a i865 would be fair. Remember, the concurrent of i850+800/45 was single channel ddr 333/cl3 or single channel ddr 266/cl2,5!
But I'm searching for bechmark scores of pc1066 and going to bech the P4 2,4 as soon as possible (I should say it isn't mine ).

Che, I can give you some numbers as I do own a system like that
P4T533-C / 2*256 RDR 1066 / P4 2.26Ghz FSB533.
Of course I totaly agree with you when you say that Rambus has no comparison whatsoever even pitted against dual ddr 400. I use a system equipped with dual ddr 400 and i865 at work and I must say that in overall I do prefer the responsiveness of my home system. Again I totaly agree with other people saying that price performance ratio is definitely not in favor of rambus.... but what should I say? "love is blind"... and oh yeah as Homer Simpson used to say : "who cares? it's free!" ... yeah that's right I RECEIVED my RDR PC1066 from Intel!

Actually I was playing with some marketing dep. And the guy who won a complete system with RDR1066 HT 3.0Ghz CPU and GF Ti4800 just said "Intel systems are simply cool" doh! I mean, was this guy in league with someone inside Intel? It was on top of something like 1000+ other people go wonder what the other said if this so lame a sentence was n°1.
