Explorer since version 3.0, never a problem.
Outlook Express since before it was named so, never a problem.

Maybe I'm too dumb to make them work well...

No problems with IE or OE here either. All I wish OE would have is the ability to save message rules, but you can get shareware to do that so....

ps. btw, why is it that OE after updating with all security patches takes a MINUTE to start (on a fresh XP install)

                More comment:

I use Opera 7.11 at home, don´t like the new mail client, no auto-open of new mail. I do like the mail client in Opera 6 however, but haven´t found a way of making it work in 7.11.

I also like Firebird, nice browser, very nice clean look.
Mouse gestures about the same as in Opera.

Gurm: http://my.opera.com/forums/ is usually a very good place for ALL things Opera, including forum/newsgroup internal betas (meaning that they aren't announced outside of the forums and newsgroups, but evreybody can dl them and contribute).

The forums use VBulletin just like the ones here, and the tone is very nice and constructive, usually
