... now I've finally got to get around to ordering those replacement parts for my reel-to-reel. I've got too many precious "first play" recordings to lose so I need to fix the deck so I can archive the tapes. I boinked all my old stereo equipment with contact cleaner and the reel-to-reel et.al. had some soft, thin, plastic parts which didn't survive the cleaning. Did get a high-end system out of the incident though.
