Most brands of expensive memory have lifetime warranties these days. You should check that...

        I had a NF2 board a little while back.
When I took off the NB heatsink, i found that the whole centre of the heatsink was a 'bubble'.
There was white goop all around the edges, but nice cooked dry, cleanish centre...

If the memory is failing test 6, then there is a problem.
I run 4000+ machines, and Memtest is part of the standard test suite, then the HDD tool from the drive maker (all on UBCD).

Try with a stick of generic ram, and if you have clocked anything, reset all to stock.

If you're sure of your memory, try and test with one stick at a time, in each slot.
Takes a while, but the only way to try to find out whats wrong is to test, and eliminate things that work. A memory error will be coming from the memory itself, or from the NorthBridge.

I personally have NO errors running at DDR600, its just that Windows bitched all the way down to 490, so I stuck it at 482MHz...And its Corsair DDR500...My CPU is limiting the FSB, and its either low latencies and low clock, or high latencies and high clock. I stuck where the performance was best. For Me anyways

Memtest, check NB cooling if not 'stuck' on, check temp in BIOS if its there...

This was exactly the situation on an MSI GF5200 model we sold, each and every damn board had to have it's cooler removed and reaplied (with new goo) or else the card came back within a week toasted.
