Hi Guyver I was interested to read a while ago that you were attempting to o\c your new processor :]

Well hows it going dude,I was hoping to read a happy post that you got it running at 1Ghz or sommit but every thing has gone a bit quiet.

Its a shame about the Abit Be6 V2 as I was thinking about getting one of the for myself but every where I look people seem to be having probs with it.I have a Be6 with my P3 450 and I must say its as sweet as a nut running at 630 Mhz 140 Fsb..:P

So come on tell us whats doin :P:P:P

The new BE6 is in, am in process of updating the BIOS for faster processor support, have already had it up to 124FSB, am shooting for higher...

So far so good...

I don't know if I'll get it any further than Paul (ALBPM) got his though.

I'm at 868 (124*7) and standing... Nothing I've done so far will get everything to work properly @ 133 with the 700. I think it's a timing issue with the AGP/PCI bus and the delay after power-up before beginning the detection process.

With the August 99 BIOS, I could switch to 133FSB with the default display configured to PCI (it would delay enough trying to detect a PCI video card, that the AGP would have enough time to be working) that it would run - sort-of.

Once I switched to the November 99 BIOS, nothing has worked as far as video with the 133FSB...

Timing - that's all it's got to be...

Same thing I was getting with the BE6-II, except I couldn't even get 124 to work with the BE6-II.

Guyver - Having fallen short of the projected 933, but agreable to the 868 for the time being...

I was hoping you would break the 124MHz FSB barrier. I've tried all kinds of things and can't get past the Windows post screen at 133 FSB. Maybe I'll put my system outside for awhile to freeze it one of these nights...LOL

Guyver I have a Question for you :]

What speed would your cmine be running at with 140 Mhz FSB.

Also I suppose that you have had your memory running at 133 Mhz before [dumd question I know]I say this cos I own pc100 sdram and my bro has pc133 and to be honest Mine is faster.
I have been running mine at 140 Mhz for 3 months now I would be running it at 150Mhz but the matrox G400 Max just can't hack the pace[BUMMER].
