I skipped the @home stuff - told their "Technician" to give me the info and take a hike. (He still got it wrong
)
I installed my "Firewall" using BlackIce Defender, and threw MSICS out the friggin window as it doesn't work for more than 2 ethernet connections (at least I was unable to make it work after 3 days of hacking around...)
I solved the problem with Nat32+, a superior product IMHO, although it comes at a cost.
I now have the @Home cable modem attached via a USB->10/100 adapter (SMC), then my GF's pc is connected via 3Com 10Mbit phone line network (in the other side of the apartment), and then a 3c415 to my 10/100 Allied Telesyn 8-port switch, which leads off to my W2K Pro "File/Print server" and W98SE gaming system.
The Firewall is a little compaq presario 5204, upgraded to a K6III-400, w 64MB SDRAM, which I've got total of about $50 wrapped up in (aside from the networking components).
The configuration works well, and since I've got DHCP servers on both "Networks" I can attach multiple PCs and jump on the web, all while using my 1 little IP address.
Anyways, I would probably copy down the info for the network, and flush the system and start over. The @Home stuff get's into the system and totally b@$tardizes the Internet Eplorer (if that's what you want to call their @Home 2.0 crud).
Guyver
