Texture Compression broken on GeForce Cards???

    If you read that thread, it states that these differences are caused by fog effects not used on radion, BUT the quake 3 skies ARE hardware related as the gf2's are compressing to 16bit

      I'm not saying that there isn't a problem with the Geforce2 texture compression under Quake3.

      Although in my case it doesn't matter at all,since i'm using a 64 meg version and even with q3 texture sliders at maximum quality,i still have 20+ megs free(at 1024*768 32 bit).

      So bring on even higher res textures... .

      All i'm saying is that there's so many people out there with so much anger against Nvidia that it borders on obsession and they'll believe any bit of news,no matter who it comes from,as long as it shows their products in a negative way.

      Assumption is the mother of all f***ups....

      Primary system :
      P4 2.8 ghz,1 gig DDR pc 2700(kingston),Radeon 9700(stock clock),audigy platinum and scsi all the way...
