Doesn't that go without saying? (it's only logical)

The problem probably is bridges not closed.
The pencil trick works but is not fool proof.
Personally prefer a conductive pen.
Have found a neat way to close them with a conductive pen.Simply draw in all the bridges covering the entire area, allow to dry a few minutes, wipe over with isapropal alcohol, repeat, clean, repeat, etc.
A build up of the conductive paint collects between the cut bridges, the connection is semi permanent and looks like the bridges were never cut!
Neat!

Yeah, success
I redid the pencil scribblings on the bridges today, and I'm now running at 900 MHz, 1.775 volts, 41C load temp.
About the voltages, my BIOS shows 1.78 volts, which is (almost) what I set, but the VIA Hardware monitor shows 1.84 volts, anyone know why the difference is so big ?"That's right fool! Now I'm a flying talking donkey!"

The error you see is typical of poor measurement within these chips. Being ~3% off is within the spec and shouldn't be compared to a high quality digital multimeter or especially one like I have."Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind." -- Dr. Seuss
