Oh no, what have I done? I turned this thread from a simple "what are good HT forums" into a big "Let's tweak our HT" thread!

LEAP is the software I'm familiar with in acoustic design.

                    This thread is very depressing.
                    Why?
                    1. I can hear the difference (Reconfirmed by a visit to the local CES on Saturday).
                    2. There is no way in hell I can afford to buy what I'd like.

I guess I'll just have to settle with upgrading my ProMedias to the 5.1 version they're coming out with.

Boo hoo, sob, sob, weep, mourn.

That's one of the reason I roll my own speaker systems.

How about your amps Mike? A friend had his friend make him some Threshold amps. Interested in any specs?

I'm still digging through my packed stuff looking for the schematics of a true solid state transconductance amp design that uses IGBT's for it's outputs (it's an Analog Devices EE's design).

                          Very sweet amp

What? You don't like buying those Russian vacuum tubes each year? BTW, on the Thresholds, I meant schematics, not just specs.

I'll see if my buddy has a scanned image of the schematics. Those puppies are boat anchors!
