But that really is no excuse because

1) If he has dynamic IP it'll be the ISP's you already know.
2) If he uses proxy, the IP will be from that ISP's proxy.
3) Even if it was a static IP and he's not using proxy, why do you need an IP if you know he's real identity?

Just wondering.. Since I'm using proxy this really doesn't make any difference to me personally.

You are forgetting log files which keeps track activities.

An organization that uses a firewall proxy would probably want to log all transactions through the proxy. So, it is still possible to enforce accountability.

Of course, IP spoofing is still possible.

Due to the prevailing hostile creatures I have done two things:

1. switched on my iSP proxy with all access through that proxy firewall server, unless they nail me.. hmm...

2. the security setting of the http://www.gagames.com/ has been switched to highest security and this site has been added to my restricted access listing of websites.
