Hi,
I think I'm cursed....first my RRG doesn't work...now this!
1) I load up Quake2 and play sigle player > Everything's OK.
2) I connect to the Net.
3) I load up Quake2 again > PC locks up.
My G400 works fine in OpenGL games (Quake2 etc). My Internet connection works fine. Playing OpenGL games over the net = locked up PC
why?
I have an ISDN adapter: "AVM ISDN controller FRITZ!Card PCI" ... Dunno if that's relevant
Here's the PC spec:
Abit BH6 bios rev. LN
Celeron300A @ 464Mhz
256MB RAM
10GB & 4GB EIDE HDDs
ISDN adapter
SB Live
G400
Software:
Powerdesk 5.15.022
BIOS 1.5-22
DirectX 6.1
The PC is totally stable in all other situations, and was fine with my old video board (TNT). There are no IRQ conflicts, and no shared IRQs.
I would *really* appreciate any help with this. I've wasted a lot of time trying to get it working...
