This is the error I get when Trying to install the Playcenter. I got the files from Shazbot and another place, says the same thing on both. I unpacked the other two, and used that setup, but it gives me that error every time. Any Ideas anyone???

    Thanks for the help.

Shazbot - I got the playcenter.zip from your site, unzipped it, ran setup, and it tells me that it's not able to detect the full set of setup files. Any ideas? Re-Downloading from creative's site will take about 6 months....

Anyone got any of the CD only goodies they want to put up on a site anywhere?

Got my Installation problems fixed for the new playcenter. I had uninstalled the old software like the directions said...didnt work. I downloaded the files from several different places. Finally I got onto the Creative sight, and downloaded the Playcenter files separately. This time I didnt have to extract or unpack the two files first. I just ran the setup, well I still couldnt get playcenter to install. Lava installed every time, but Playcenter wouldnt. SO, I put my old disk that came with the card in and uninstalled ALL the creative software. Then I re-installed the software from the ORIGINAL disk, then re-installed the Liveware 3.0 that I got from SHAZBOT (thanks again!!) and finally ran the setup that I downloaded from Creative, to install the new Playcenter, and lava...and it worked. So if you have the same problem I did, uninstall everything using the original setup disk, then re-install it from the original setup disk that came with your SB Live card, THEN procede to install the updated files. Give this a try, it worked for me.

        My System:
Abit BE6 MOBO, PIII 450, 128MB Ram, G400 32MB(not max, but still gotta luv it), SB Live Value, 40X Max CDROM, 4X4X24 HP CD writer, USR 56K voice int.......

works fine for me but I don't suppose anyone tried the copies I downloaded, they'll be gone in a day or two.

Thanks SJRACER, I'm gonna have to try that cause I tried the files from Shazbot and from Creative and I get the same error as you every time... I'll have to start over again.

            I'll let you know. Thanks!

Hi people, I'm looking for advise

I have a Millenium card (old and reliable at last)and I was happy until I decided to buy a SB Live! card.
With the SB Live! installed the computer refuses to boot because there is a conflict with the graphic card.
Asking to Creative people they told me to download the Liveware 3 software which drivers would have solved the problem.
Now, to turn the computer on I have to remove the SBLive thing but by doing so the Liveware software doesn't run but tells me that it doesn't recognize any sbLive! card on board.
Off course if I install the card the computer won't boot.
I'm a bit at lost here.
Can somebody give me a tip?
              Thank you
