Hi,
I just recently got hold of a Gigabyte GA-6VXE+ VIA Apollo chipset mobo to test with my G200/8MB and when running with driver version 5.25 under Win98SE it will report a VxD VMM error during either system restart or while booting into Windows. At times it will go the desktop and then freeze completely.
I have reverted back to driver version 4.51 and it is very stable now (and that's how I am able to write this !). I would like to know if anyone has encountered this problem before and if there's any solution to it.
Also, I've noticed my sound card is having the same IRQ11 as my G200. Could this be a problem and how should I change my sound card's IRQ ?
Appreciate any advise.
My system config is :
Gigabyte GA-6VXE+,128MBPC100,G2008MB,A3Dsoundcard,
FastSCSIcard,ADSLcard,Windows98SE
