Hi,
I've recently built my own system, and
am experiencing crashes when trying to
run Unreal Tournament or the G400 tech
demo (these are the only two apps I've
installed which are using 3d hardware
acceleration, so I'm guessing that this
is a G400 related problem).
Basically, Unreal usually crashes after
playing through a single level, or sometimes
refuses to load and goes back to the desktop
screen - I get a horrible C++ stylee error
message.
The G400 tech demo usually doesn't load,
and on the occasssions when it does
load, it crashes when I try any of the
function key options.
My system spec. is as follows :
PIII@450Mhz
128Mb PC100 SDRAM
Matrox G400 (dual head, 32Mb) - I think
it's currently set at IRQ 11.
Superpower XV-133 motherboard (VIA
Apollo chipset)
Creative SoundBlaster32
Windows 98
Mitsubishi Pro 900U
Pioneer DVD ROM
Any help with this problem would be greatly
appreciated.
Cheers,
Adam.
