I can't wait to see what Paul's scores are like with his new rig. A MAX should scale nicely with a PIII @ 7 * 124Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

Looks like the Game 1 & 2 are optimized by SSE when you compare the level of detail scores with the Athlons 3DNow support. But this is true with a lot of games today so I feel it is a fair comparison.
I'm wondering, ALBPM did you overclock your G400? The fillrate scores are impressive!

Well I ran some more. The next results are the same as my first,
only with Overclocking the MAX. Then its 850Mhz std and overclocked MAX.
Then finaly I got it to 875Mhz but I need more cooling. The drop from 1/2 L2 to 1/3 is too far as you can see. Later

3d Mark 2000 is going to give unfair results for P3's and k62-3's as they use their 3dnow type instructions. Considering very few programs use this and in verying degrees of optimization, it is not a good cross section benchmark. When the 3d mark is way ahead on a P3 compared to an equally clocked PII or O/C Celeron but in real world case they perform identical, this is bunk to me. The numbers are interesting but not very usefull. Just my two bits. I love you guys(said in a cartmen voice)Damnit Jim I'm a film maker, not a systems tech!
