    That's right. Just taped it on the G400. When you think of it, after putting the card in and letting your case stands up right, that small little fan would be on the top of the card, so I don't think that it's gonna slip or something......My front-side fan was ripped off an old Pentium Pro chip so I think you can roughly estimate the size....

      I have overclocked my G400 with matrox's utility up to 115.2% (I think that's about 146Mhz, I haven't tried more yet) and I barely see some white dots on the screen while I play Need for Speed 4
      But the temperature doesn't seem to get any higher than before overclocking, although I have only added a small 486 CPU fan...
      I can't see any temparature problems with G400...I don't think that extra cooling can drive the card to higher speeds.
      It's not a Celeron after all...

        I use a 40mm 486 fan also. I just want to warn you if you use crazy glue make sure it is completely dried before applying power. The glue eats into the coating of the board and is conductive until it dries.

          to be honest Cole ... no clue ...

          Those are just fans that looked right for me when I bought 'em and the small one on the backplate is replaced by a standard 3-wire P2/3 fan.
          The big one is about the same size as the PCB and extends the heatsink by about one centimeter in each direction giving some cooling tio the RAM chips too.
