All right, let's think here... Ronnie is running a 300A@450, right? Well, first of all he has dick for cache, which will artificially lower benchmark scores which are CPU intensive (i.e. anything involving the G400). Also, he probably had to disable secondary cache to get that 66->100 overclock. Or else the drivers disabled bus mastering or something. Therefore, the Rage appears to kick the G400's ass all over the floor, when in reality his system is screwed.

That's GOTTA be it. Hehe.

and yes the matrox was sharing irq with two other devices my scsi card and USB host controller on IRQ 11

Guys! Please, Please!, PLEASE!!!!!! Don't show me anymore benchmarks with that GeFarse 2 GTS in it! I know it has memory bandwidth problems, doesn't do 32-bit 3D as well as it should, probably doesn't have the 2D display quality I'm after, and very definately costs too much for something that will be "out of date" in six months! But it's fast enough at high rez 3D, that I really sort of want one. I've got my nuts in a vice trying to resist the temptation. I read this thread for a good laugh. And I find a flippin benchmark with the GTS in it!!!

Go play UT, search for "Alien Life Forms", or something! Just don't show me that stuff, Not Here. Please!

BTW - Ronnie you really are kinda funny! and really sad at the same time. Maybe someday your cognitive faculties will actually begin to function. I just hope you survive until then.

the Rage Fury 32mg is faster than the G400 in 3D on my system..Some games you can see the difference, and please start the BS about the
picture quality of Matrox. Could be the G400 doesn't like the Abit BX6 R2 board and win2k..dunno. And yes for the idiot who said
if I changed to more powerful CPU would help the G400..heheh I'm sure it would , running the G400 at 700mhz and the Rage at 450mhz.
Sorry guys/girls I'm not blind the Rage is a better overall card for me, I guess I don't care if Matrox reads this or not since I get no paycheck from the dorks..no, really

Well, if you're still here than go the fu*k away! If you wanted help setting that shit up, you could easily have asked for it. There are people here who are running very similar systems and they seem to have their G400's running just fine. C'Mon though, if you don't like the card, good for you. We don't give a shit! You don't need to come and post that your system is fu*ked up and your card doesn't work so you get rid of it. Do we benefit from that!?! Hell the fu*k no!!! Ask for help next time and in the mean time, git!

Does anybody here at the murc live near Ronnie? If yes I do want him to check it by himself, can't be possible that a g400 gets beaten by an ATI rage fury 32.
For the IRQ sharing, if you have win2k it's all ok, my G400 is sharing with four other devices on irq 9 and is still blasting through the games without any problems.

And for the +5% between the G200 and the G400 that is NOT possible. When I changed it was like night and day for me!

All right Ronnie ! Maybe it's better that you stick up with your Rage if it's so wonderfull ... Maybe you had bad card or something, but one thing is sure: there was something shit in your system... (At least shared irq etc...) I will download that test and run it with my parents (when i visit @their place next time) computer ( cel 400@500 with G400SH16M & Abit BX6r2.31). Maybe you could do the same and post some real results here like Greebe & Joel and others and prove your claims ? If not, it's your shame and i think you should stop posting this kind of shit to these forums ...
