Ok, before i start calling in support from companies, i figured i would see if anyone here knew the answer first.
It started back when the certified drivers were released for the G400MAX and W2K. I decided i would give them a try (and noticing that they were the same as the G400 certified drivers), so i uninstalled 5.10 and installed 5.04. Decided i liked the 5.04 so i uninstalled them and installed 5.10 again.
Now, as a result, I have no hardware acceleration available. Of the 3 options under "display" in dxdiag (DirectDraw, Direct3d and AGP Texturing Acceleration) the only one that is even available is DirectDraw, and the other two are shown as "Not Available".
Numerous uninstalls and reinstalls of the drivers and DirectX have ensued, but nothing has fixed it.
And on a trivial note, the icons always display w/ the 16 color icons even tho "Show Icons Using All Possible Colors" is enabled. Same thing tho. worked fine, now it don't. can't get it to work right now.
Anyone got any ideas?
