Problem:My G400max is still not able to play OGL Q2 or HL or Opfor with drivers above 5.41.
Clicking on directional keys causes offset parallel lines or something like full screen shearing. D3D and 2D are beautiful.(A full description of the problem and previous discusions at http://forum.matrox.com/mgaforum/For...ML/000842.html ) and Matrox even went so far as to send me a new card. No difference. OK, So it has to be a configuration problem.
Friends have suggesting that my SDRAM, fsb, and AGP SGRAM speeds/frequency are not matched.
I looked in my BIOS and can find reference to CPU BUS/PCI but no AGP settings of any kind outside of Graphic Aperture Setting.
I ran Powerstrip after reading some of the posts here and got the following:
