No more rumors and hints on G800?

March is soon. I'd expect we'll see the new card announced and shipping by the end of March. I won't cry if it doesn't since I haven't Max'ed out my Max yet w/ my PIII/450.

I am well aware of what an NDA is, I have signed a few and authored a few myself. If you have seen more than one, you would know that they are not all the same. I was very careful in what I asked, deliberately so. Please take the time to actually read the question and then respond to the post.

Fine Unam, you know what an NDA is. Then what did you expect from your question? How is someone supposed to legitimately answer your question without violating their agreement?
Yes, I read your question when it was originally posted and several times later including before posting that comment. I've been involved with numerous NDAs over the years and they have some differences but they're all essentially the same. No reason to get upset because you can't get a straight answer to your question. As I said, the responses you got were expected and you can see numerous threads like yours.

if it's an card i think they'll be selling and shipping very soon after that.

if it's an chip they'll announce an card around may/june and start shipping in jul/aug/sep frame. (jul for can, sep for europe)

Michel, I wouldn't expect Matrox to independently announce a new graphics chip apart from a board since they produce their own graphics cards.

well, i havent punched in here in a while im still enjoying my g400 vanila..... and i just finished repairing a system for a buddy who has a tnt2 , and two of my other buddys are voodo3 / 5 fans , and what i have to say is this , my old outdated g400 still looks better (hell i still regret giveing my brotherin law my g200 becuase that even looks better than the v3 2000 i got in my 2nd game rig its not as fast but who wants a vid card that is fast but looks like crap.... ive tryed the rest voodo tnt ect im sticking with matrox hardware from now on.

I bet a card will be announced by Summer 2001 and they will be shipping in volume in March 2004.

Matrox usually announce the chip itself followed by the first card based on that chip a couple of months later so I'd tend to agree with Michel.
