        guess what i discovered!!!

i booted up on 1 processor and VIOLA!!! my dvd players(power dvd and the matrox dvd) both work now!

is this a known limitation? if not, then i'll post a bug report on matroxs' tech support forum.

forgot to mention...all my componets are back in the advanced tab.

anyone else have a multi-processor system that can verify this???

Oh dear. I hope the new rules arent:

          (display, display, processor, processor)
          pick any three.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

This PowerDesk should be called 'beta': Just one language, the new resolution manager does not work properly, less colors compared to previous drivers (6.10 and higher, they may be just darker).
I would not use them unless you benefit from the new dualhead features.

The drivers aren't corrupt. I had to reinstall win2k

I'll brave re-installing them in a couple of days, I need my computer now though...

I just see 'english only' at the download site for the latest drivers.

Of course they work and it is no problem for me. But I wonder why and just wanted to mark it.

Here are the Powerdesk V. 6.50.008 Release Notes for Win98 and WinME.

propably they noticed that everyone downloaded those drivers from the ftp page anyway, so they decided to add the other languages later.

over here the custom resolutions aren't working. The OpenGL modes are working (for which I use the UMOTU to change)

from the first mtstu i couldnt overclock. slider is at 1%. i can move it, but i can neither apply temp nor permanently. i was told to reinstall windows, so i did, including a format c: , but it didnt help. i was just hoping that it would work with the new drivers, but im using mgatweak now.
