I had the same problem with massive screen corruption after I moved my G400 from a P2B to a A7V. I changed biosesses
in both the MB and the G400, changed memory sticks, changed 4-in-1 drivers and a bunch of other stuff. I tried Win ME and Win 98se so joy.
Finally I noticed that I was finally in AGP2x which I was never able to get working with my old MB. So just for the heck of it I used the Matrox tweak thingie to change it to 1x and I haven't had any crashes since (of that type, I'm still using Windows after all)
anyways give it a shot and see if it helps
