You posted up a press release that was obviously meant to be released on Tuesday, and you know it was under NDA until then.

You have no shame, but should feel very ashamed.

        • VigilAnts original post was a collection of rumours circulating within the industry at that time. They were rumours and could have been true or wild speculation. That was clearly stated at the time At that time as your memory recalls I stated I was not under any NDA with Matrox and that was true at that time. I fail to see what bearing that has on anything. When speaking to Matrox we discussed rumours and it was agreed that my commenting on rumours was not a breach of NDA, what most definitely was was to post any information that had clearly come from a NDA breach.

IBXT have received extremely detailed information they knew or subsequently knew to be from a breached NDA. Their rhetoric that because they are not under NDA they can post anything they like is true but does that make it the right thing to do? They have posted the information in full without the slightest regard so they can scoop it as they know everyone else is under NDA until the 14th and the scoop is all they care about.

And you have since strongly emphasized that the info was/is correct.
If so, what is the principal difference from iXBT publishing the info they´ve got?

          • I'll repeat my question as you seem to want to avoid it. When you received that information did you know it had come from a breached NDA? If you did what were you reasons for posting it? If you didn't know you do now and will you remove it and apologise to Matrox?

No one is arguing that users here can or cannot link to websites with information.

We are talking directly to the person who posted the leak on the web.

              • OIC. Well, that's another issue I guess. I dunno, if they didn't break NDA then we wouldn't be seeing these specs, etc. And this seems to be good for Matrox, but I guess it is against Matrox's trust.

We know that our source doesn't break NDA. May be he found this info occasionally on the web. Relax!

If Matrox contacts us and we deal to have relations and sign NDA we'll remove this article immediately.

                    • Yes you do. You know that info was covered by NDA. Therefore, it's not legal for you to post it. It doesn't matter if you got it from a "friend of a friend" or not.

                        We dont know that.

_Nowhere_ in materials was written that it's under NDA or SECRET or can be published only after launch date.

And i am don't receive anything from matrox about that.

Really? Too late. I've already got it archived ... in fact, its still up on my screen. I wouldn't be surprised if you soon see other sites posting copies of this article.

I'm still looking forward to the official launch date and all the hoopla. I've got to make sure to get to bed early so I can wake up in time for the launch. I hope you've got your review ready to go after launch Mike.
