English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleys, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

No, not a hack job by me. But according to Crosscourt of viahardware.com and intelzone.com and ex-GX of firingsquad.com's forum - this informaion is real. Say what you will, I am only the messenger.
According to Crosscourt, this page was removed by matrox, and no longer exists.Primary system specs:

That fake has made an appearance here before.
It is totally inaccurate. Nothing but a ploy for web hits.Core2 Duo E7500 2.93, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, 4gig 1066 DDR2, 1gig Asus ENGTS250, SB X-Fi Gamer ,WD Caviar Black 1tb, Plextor PX-880SA, Dual Samsung 2494s

375mhz gpu
agp 8x
2mb cache for texture, pixel or geometry use.
400mhz ramdac
64-256mb ddr ram
64/96/128 bit color.
150 million triangles
3 gigapixels per second visible
12 gigapixels depth complexity 4
24 layer textures in one pass.
48 pixel shader operations in one pass.
In case the link above stops working. One thing I just noticed is that if this is not BS, Matrox has for the first time ever disclosed clockspeeds. The G1000 core will run "Up to 375mhz". They have *never* stated the clockspeed of the G400, G450 or G550 or any other matrox chip I am aware of.Primary system specs:

Quick note to confirm the removal of the page by Matrox, actually it says "This page has been moved" when it comes up, it then presents you with a variant of the Matrox search page, no search function, just a series of links.Office: Giga266A, XP1900+, 1GB PC2100. 80GB Maxtor, Matrox G550 Integraph 21", Sceptre 19"

Crap, was that the exact same page as posted before? Yes, I do recal seeing a page similar to this, but I don't believe it was the exact same page.
But this information (that screenshot was made by some guy, I don't know) was confirmed by CC. No, he does not BS. He has posted this in his forum and not the main-page therefore doesn't affect page-hits much.Primary system specs:
Asus A7V266-E | AthlonXP 1700+ | Alpha Pal8045T | Radeon 8500 | 256mb Crucial DDR | Maxtor D740X 40gb | Ricoh 8/8/32 | Toshiba 16X DVD | 3Com 905C TX NIC | Hercules Fortissimo II | Antec SX635 | Win2k Pro

That info has been presented here before as Kruzin said and is T totally incorrect.
Unless your willing to bet... then you'll have to stand in line with the rest of the non believers & hype proclaimers and be prepared to eat hat."Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind." -- Dr. Seuss
