all of above(voted "other"), except framerates, i judge a card by its own merits, i don´t care how fast a gf4 or radeon8500 is.

oh, and i can´t afford surround gaming either.

Image quality is a given with a Matrox product. Really it has never been an issue. The thing I would like to see is ROBUST drivers. Hotkeys, customizations, full control, stability, and drivers that make use of the hardware is a MUST.

          Just my .02.

IQ, the only thing that counts

                Second: Dual PIII 1GHz | 21" Monitor | G200MMS + Quadro 2 Pro | 512MB ECC SDRAM | SCSI

                  Voted Other.

All of the above really except frame rates. It has to run UT2 fast and I'll assume it runs very well considering it is being surround gaming showcased!
                  Cheers, Reckless

I'd br buying it for their ImageQuality, and their DualHead, noone has quite matched the features and ease of use yet...

I picked all of the above and "other" was for the killer tech support from Haig and crew

Image quality, then framerate for me. But I couldn't choose framerate from the list above, because I don't think it has to beat the GF4 to suit me, just be competitive (meaning give me enough fps to be smooth in all my titles with the IQ features on). That thing about wanting the highest benchmarks is nuts, since I don't care about anything beyond my refresh rate, so long as I can hit my refresh rate on the minimum end.
                          "..so much for subtlety.."

                          System specs:
                          Gainward Ti4600
                          AMD Athlon XP2100+ (o.c. to 1845MHz)

33 people buy it for the Matrox name? Tch, fanboys

While I trust Matrox to offer what I want, if 3DLabs started offering better - I'd sure as hell switch!
